Parent Readers!

The elephants heard so many fabulous stories, some new, some old, some that had been read when the parents were children! We loved them all, a huge thank you to the Mums of Vama, Blythe and Aidan and the Dads of Injun and Jamie for sharing your favourite stories with us!

Year Five Readers!

Year Five had been writing their own stories and were very excited to come down to DUCKS and read them to us!

Nursery Readers!

The Elephants had a enjoyable time sharing books with the Nursery children!

Library Readers!

The Elephants shared lots of books with their Mums and Dads! So much reading! Good times!

Mystery Readers!

Some chimpanzees swung by to visit the elephant classroom but where did the elephants march off to?

Book Parade!

The Finale of the whole week! Have a look at our fabulous costumes! Can you work out which book character we are?

The children had a fun afternoon finding out about the traditions of Chinese New Year. At each information point there were fact sheets to read, film clips to watch or stories to listen to, with the children taking notes as they went. These facts were made into a fabulous leaflet, full of facts and colourful pictures!
