"We work and play together!" DUCKS P&Os
Jamie and Daniel deserved their certificates this week because they are both brilliant at making friends but also working sensibly with them in class too! Perfect attitude boys!

After discovering Australia with Captain Cook and realising how many weird and wonderful insects live there, we are focusing on bugs to help our poetry and art! So far we have covered a balloon with papier mache (glue and paper! very messy!). Once it was dry, we cut the balloon in half and stuck it to a piece of card. Embellishments such as eyes, antennae and legs were added, covered in goo and eventually painted! Wait and see our finished bugs! The children were challenged to use the electrical equipment to make the bulb light up or the buzzer sound! Miss Shannon came in to make some very cute elf decorations with the Elephants! Thank you Miss Shannon! Well done Victoria and Henry for writing an excellent version of 'Christmas at Exeter Street'! They used awesome adjectives and terrific time words! And finally...Merry Christmas from the Elephants! We hope you all have a lovely holiday! Vama and Ria asked their Mums to come in to tell the Elephants about Diwali! We made some delicious sweets and made some fabulous rangoli patterns! |
Welcome to the Elephant herd!Ms. Ding
