We have had a busy week, with lots of new information to think about. In our topic time, we have had a chance to learn a little about the voyages of Captain James Cook.
We started off by using a new term 'sources' and had the chance to look at pictures relating to Captain Cook. We had to think really carefully about them to work out what they were. We were most impressed that one of the people traveling with Cook was an artist. We eventually arrived at the conclusion that they took an artist with them to record images, as they did not have cameras - this took a while but we worked it out in the end!!

We also tried a new way of recording information based on how important we thought it was. The formation is called a 'diamond nine'. The top of the diamond holds the most important fact and the bottom the least important and the facts side by side are as important as each other. Can you remember which fact you thought was the most important about Captain Cook's life?
