Character Study
Pick one of your favourite characters from one of your favourite traditional stories. Draw a detailed illustration of your character in colour. Around the illustration write eight observations about your character. Use evidence from the story. For example in class we did the character study of the Third Little Pig and we wrote "Brave - because he stood up to the Big Bad Wolf", "Smart - because he built a strong house out of bricks".
Parents - students should be able to do this homework activity independently, we have been doing activities like this in class. But please do check that they have completed the criteria. Students are being encouraged to take more responsibility for the completion of their homework. If you like you can comment on the page if your child did the work independently or required parent assistance or parent to sit next to them to complete the work.
