How would you work out 15+10?
1. Use counters.
2. Draw dots and count how many altogether.
3. Put your finger on 15 on the 100 square and count on 10 more hops.

Just move down 1 square!
This adds '10 more' but you can also find '10 less' by moving up the 100 square!

This is another handy trick!
If you know that 5+1=6, then you will be able to quickly work out 15+1, 25+1 or 165+1.
