This week the children have two pieces of homework:
Spellings - your child will have brought home their spellings for the week. They need to do their spellings every night. The battle for Spelling Queen and Spelling King is getting very tough!
Literacy - to support the work we are doing this week on 'Traditional Tales' your children have been asked to use the picture to think of some adjectives and then to do a little writing.
Within your child's homework book, you might have noticed their writing targets. These are targets set from their last assessment piece completed just before the holidays. They are also in the children's literacy book and so remind the children of ways to improve their work. Once the children are achieving these targets regularly they will be given new targets to achieve.
