Block E- securing number facts, relationships and calculating

We learned how to show multiplication as arrays- repeated addition. We need to know our 2s,5s and 10s times tables.

We recognised that x2 is the same as double.

We learned how to use number lines to work out multiplication questions.

We also learned strategies for division. We recognized that dividing by 2 is the same as halving and can only be done equally if the number is even.

Methods we used are counting down or up on a number line and sharing.

We also used number lines to count up when dividing numbers that leave remainders.
