This week we took our known number bonds to 10, number bonds to 20 and simple addition facts such as 6+3=9 to apply them to larger calculations. We used them to help complete number sentences for multiples of 10 (60+30=90) and multiples of 100 (600+300=900). We all did very well. To challenge us further we then thought about number sentences where we added multiples of 10 and multiples of 100. Most of us kept a high level of accuracy when adding the multiple of 10 crossed over into a new hundreds value. We have also been looking at doubling and halving this week, increasing our speed and accuracy in recalling facts for numbers to 20 and numbers to 100. Next week everyone is looking to beat their Big Maths challenge score from this week!
