Over the past few weeks we have been doing things such as adding and subtracting using tens and units blocks and equations.
At home you can ask your child to show you how they add this number using the tens and units equation.

23
We have also been using blocks to practise division questions such as "I have 4 friends, and I want to share 20 candies among each of them, how many candies do they get altogether?".
We have also learnt a few new games. One you can play together at home is 21. You start with 21 and you take turns to take away 1, 2 or 3 (no more). The first to 0 wins the game.
This week we measured ourselves and compared our heights to the worlds tallest man and the world shortest man.
At home you can find the difference of you height to the worlds tallest man if you like. He is from Turkey and measures at 251cm. Or the worlds shortest man measures at 55cm, he is from the Philippines.
