These past few weeks in maths we have been practising recording how we get answers to different questions. There are a variety of ways to answer questions and it is an important skill to be able to record how you work out your answers. You would have noticed in the homework there has been a number of questions that allowed space for showing how your child got their answer. Different ways students may get their answers is through drawing pictures, counting on fingers, counting in your head (the strategy for counting in your head should also be written down). Please encourage your child to explain and show their working out with you.
