To kick off our final few weeks of work about chocolate, Puma class sat together for a blind chocolate taste test. With the lights off we tried really hard to think about our sense of smell and taste in order to describe three different types of chocolate. The vocabulary and descriptions that the class suggested were amazing! We then started to explore the science behind changes of state. Using chocolate as an example, we went to the cooking room with Mrs Taylor and Mrs Chen to make some decorative chocolate circles, melting down chocolate chunks over boiling water and then making circles which were left to cool and harden. One thing is for sure - Pumas like chocolate!
