Phew... What a busy week in 2H! We got off to a fantastic start with Sports Day bright and early on Monday - thanks to all of the parents that were able to come and enjoy the morning with us. All the children performed fantastically well and had a super time to boot!
We have also been very busy in class this week. In Literacy we have been looking at shape poems and poems from around the world; I have been mightily impressed by the children's writing and their imaginative ways of presenting their poems.
In preparation for UN day next week we have been learning lots about our chosen country, Australia, but also about various countries all around the world - I wonder if the children will be able to remember all seven continents and give examples of some countries from each?
We have had some expert help in class this week with many parents coming in to share a story, a treat and tell us lots of interesting facts about their home country; big thanks to Taryn, Lada and Nathalie.
We have lots of great photos to look at this week - please see below!
