As a continuation of Science, we looked this week at our class animals (through our non fiction literacy work) and we also looked at animals in China. The different environments they live in and which animals we find here. We also talked about how the Yangze River Dolphin is now extinct and what that means, and also looked at things we can go to protect the environment. The children collaboratively made a display showing the different environments in China and animals we find there. We extended this, by taking notes on the different environments and then though of adjectives we had in our notes to add to our display (please pop in to have a look).
