The Elephants have been practising using viewfinders to help them draw the school buildings. They looked closely at a section of DUCKS, drawing the straight lines at the edge of the building first, adding the details later!
"We have friends from many countries" DUCKS P&OsHenry received his award for just being a lovely little boy! He has made friends with all the boys in our class, well done Henry! Sorry for the blurry photo but it shows how excited and pleased Aaliyah was to receive this certificate! Aaliyah became an Elephant within about 10 minutes of joining our class and easily made friends with all the girls! Well done Aaliyah! Summer's quiz with food and dancing!Summer's Mum wore the most beautiful Korean dress to test our knowledge on Korea! If we knew the answer there was a delicious reward! Yum! Victoria was the answer!When Victoria's Mum came in to talk about Hong Kong we all learned something new! Very oddly though Victoria was the answer to many of the questions! A huge thank you to Victoria's Mum who let us smell the spices that gave Hong Kong its name, she made delicious food for us to taste and even showed us how to play a game they play in Hong Kong! Blythe's cookies!Blythe's Mum (Mom!) popped in to tell us that 'chocolate chip cookies' were invented by mistake! Well, what a delicious mistake! We mixed and baked our own batch of yummy cookies! (no mistakes while we were baking!) Thank you Shannon for coming in! Yum! Aidan's baseball and cupcakes!Aidan's Mum (Mom!) continued telling us all about America! The country has really packed in a lot of history in a few short years! After learning a baseball song, we then played a fabulous game of BASEBALL! Everybody hit the ball, some children sent it flying! So proud of you all! Lets sneak out and play again next week! Then to top off our awesome American day we decorated cupcakes in red, white and blue! |
