Task
For homework this week the students are required to sort the information taken from the Barclays Premier League table. They will need to read the table and decide whether each team 'has' or 'has not' met the criteria given in the Carroll Diagram.
Carroll Diagrams
Two pieces of homework ago the students were asked to sort shapes into a Venn diagram. They sorted them using one criteria. A Carroll Diagram is slightly harder as it requires them to sort the football teams using two sets of criteria.
Prior Learning
During the work we carried out in class, the children completed a Carroll Diagram based on the length of their height and feet. We then also sorted them by their month of birth and height. We concluded that the children born between August and January were taller than the other children in the class.
