Literacy

As a special treat to start our topic on Chocolate we watched Charlie and the Chocolate factory. It had such exciting characters and settings so we are using the story in Literacy. We have been looking at verbs and adjectives and used them to describe the characters. We compared some of the children and decided Veruca Salt was the worst!

We had a go at planning and writing our own story based on 'A Quiet night in' or 'Charlie and the Chocolate factory'. We found it a bit tricky and will be doing more work on it next week!
