The journey of Chocolate

We found out how the Aztecs made chocolate and what happened when the Spanish came to visit! It took the Spanish 100years to share chocolate with the rest of the Europe as they liked it so much and chocolate beans were hard to get.

We read books and looked at lots of power points and found lots of different information. Sometimes it is difficult to find out what really happened so long ago and we have learned that there is always more to find out or someone always has a different viewpoint on what happened. We are making a 'Did you know?" wall with all the facts we have found out.

This is a picture of Hernando Cortes- can you remember who he was?
