Water outside, water inside!

It might be raining outside, but inside it's pretty wet too!! This week we have been focussing on measures in Maths. discussing cm, m, kg, g, ml and l. We have practised ordering a mixed selection of lengths (in both cm and m) and calculated missing interval amounts on lines of scales. The highlight of our week was getting our hands wet as we explored capacity using a variety of containers, estimating which containers could hold less than a litre, exactly a litre or more than a litre. Our exploration proved fun, interesting and full of new learning!
